The use of Turbans, Scarves, Hats
TurbansCan-Care’s turbans are made from 100% cotton lycra. Turbans are good choice for you to wear at home instead of a wig. It is easy to put on, comfortable and keeps you suitably warm in the night, especially in an air-conditioned environment. To add height to a turban, you can wear the turban over the wig cap. To make turbans more visually interesting, try layering or accessorising them with pins, a scarf or a headband.
Scarves
Scarves offer tremendous versatility in colour, style and texture. A 32"-36" square is large enough to be wrapped around your head completely or to be folded into a band. Smaller squares and oblongs also make attractive bands. Scarf fabrics include silk, which looks elegant; while cotton offers a casual look, is cool and ties securely; wool challis can be scratchy but drapes beautifully. The weather and the occasion will help determine your choice.
Hats
Can-Care’s hats are made from 100% breathable cotton. From the sporty baseball cap to the stylish cloche and the snappy topper to the sensuous beret, hats are always in style and always an option next to wigs. Some hats are sold with a hair -piece that can be velcroed on to create the illusion of hair beneath the hat. Try different combinations of hat styles for your own uniquely individual look.
Therefore our advice is that whether you are selecting a turban, scarf or hat, colours, styles and patterns should be chosen to complement your outfit; exact matches are not necessary. Try two patterns with the same colour tones for an interesting, uniquely personal look. Clothing styles with soft curves and draping lines work especially well with head wraps.
